Role:

Support JKids/youth ministry by operating media, sound, and production equipment to create engaging worship and teaching experiences

 

Responsibilities:

• Sound Board/ProPresenter Support

  • Operate the soundboard for live services and events, ensuring clear and balanced audio

  • Operate ProPresenter to make sure lyric slides and scripture are on the screen during worship services and message

• System Maintenance and Troubleshooting

  • Assist in basic maintenance of A/V systems (e.g., replacing cables, checking connections)

• Team Collaboration

  • Work with the worship and production teams to execute the vision for services and events

  • Attend regular training sessions and team meetings to improve technical skills

  • Collaborate with volunteers, providing guidance and support as needed

• Attend quarterly volunteer trainings

 

Qualifications:

• Interest in audio, video, or lighting production (experience is a plus but not required)

• Willingness to learn new technologies and systems

• Basic understanding of computers and A/V equipment is helpful

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Dependable, teachable, and flexible

• Familiarity with software like ProPresenter, Ableton, or live streaming platforms is a plus

 

Time Commitment Per Week:

3-4 hours/week (Sunday services, midweek rehearsals and occasional special events)

 

Commitment Period:

We ask that our volunteers in this role commit to serve in this capacity for 1 year
