Family Ministry Worship Leader

Role:

Lead and inspire JKids and/or middle schoolers in worship through music, prayer, and spiritual guidance, fostering a deeper connection with God

Responsibilities:

• Planning Services

  • Assist with planning Sunday and Wednesday services

  • Lead weekly rehearsals

  • Conduct monthly meetings with worship team leaders

• Providing Information

  • Share planned songs and the worship team schedule with the Youth Pastor/JKids Director

  • Communicate with the team via text or in person

• Creating a Positive Atmosphere

  • Lead worship services for JKids/Axis/TSB/Oath students on Sundays and/or Wednesdays, ensuring they are Christ-centered

  • Help students understand the purpose of worship and its significance

  • Foster an environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves in worship

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate Christ-like character

• Teachable and willing to teach

• Punctual and reliable: arrive at least 15 minutes before service

• Commit to serving three times a month

Time Commitment Per Week:

5-6 hours/week (2-3 hours on Sunday) & 2 hours/week outside of church practicing

Commitment Period:

We ask that our volunteers in this role commit to serve in this capacity for 1 year
